Supervisor Academy
NPT offers specialized training to support the preparation of current child welfare professionals who are advancing into new leadership roles.
The Supervisor Academy supports the completion of the state training requirements for newly promoted supervisors. Child welfare supervisors have two years from their promotion date to complete all of the training in the state's training plan.
Many of the trainings listed in the state's training plan are web-based and available for supervisors to take at any time through their NPT Learn account.
Below is the schedule of upcoming instructor-led and hybrid courses for Northern & Rural Nevada supervisors. You must be registered for the Supervisor Training Academy with NPT in order to enroll in any of these courses. Reach out to the NPT office or your supervisor/manager for more information.
